Threat Type: Phishing Alert

Websense® Security Labs™ has received reports of a new phishing attack that targets customers of Indiana University Employees Federal Credit Union. Users receive a spoofed email message, which claims that services on their accounts must be renewed if the accounts are to remain active. Users are asked to log on to their accounts. The message provides a link to a phishing website that requests the user's ATM or debit card number and PIN number. 

The phishing site is hosted in Brazil and was up at the time of this alert.

This is your official notification from IU Credit Union that the
service(s) listed below  will be deactivated and deleted if not renewed
immediately. Previous notifications have  been sent to the Billing
Contact assigned to this account. As the Primary Contact, you  must
renew the service(s) listed below or it will be deactivated and deleted.


 Renew Now your IU Credit Union Bill Pay Services.


 SERVICE : IU Credit Union On-line Bill-Pay Services.
 EXPIRATION : June 23, 2006
